Solo Pickleball Practice on Your PicklePost

If you own a PicklePost Pro or Pro XL, a 20-minute solo session covers height setup, contact point reps, volley blocks and dink touch. The trainer holds the ball at a set height and returns it after each hit, and the Pro XL adjusts from 13 to 68 inches, so no partner is needed.

Sample 20-minute solo plan

  1. 1. Set Your Heights

    3 min

Set the PicklePost to your dink, volley and drive heights and mark each one.

  2. 2. Contact Point Reps

    6 min | 30 hits

Paddle face meets the ball out in front of your body.

  3. 3. Volley Block Series

    6 min | 30 hits

Short punch, firm wrist, no backswing. Reset after any wobble.

  4. 4. Dink Touch

    5 min | 30 hits

Low setting. Soft lift from the legs, paddle face open.

Make it a game

Play Clean Streak: count clean hits in a row at volley height. One wobble resets the count. Beat your record every session.

Pickleball questions

Can I practice pickleball without a partner?

Yes. The PicklePost holds the ball at a set height and returns it after each hit, so you can repeat the same contact point alone.

What is the difference between the Pro and the Pro XL?

The PicklePost Pro is the arm only, for mounting on your own pole or post. The Pro XL is the arm plus a stand that adjusts from 13 to 68 inches.

What heights should I use for each shot?

Set lower for dinks, around chest height for volleys and higher for drives. See the contact point guide on beasthack.com for details.

When does it ship?

Pre-order now. Ships by December 4.
