Drills for Your Home Hitting Station

If you own a Beast Hack Backyard Training Kit or an Indoor, Outdoor & Mobile unit, a 20-minute session of warm-up swings, contact work, height changes and a strong finish builds steady reps. The ball comes back after every swing, so nothing needs chasing between reps.

Sample 20-minute plan

For youth players: Adult supervision recommended for youth players. Follow all setup and safety instructions.

  1. 1. Easy Rotation Warm-Up

    4 min | 8 swings

Half-speed swings. Stay balanced and finish tall.

  2. 2. Contact Ladder

    6 min | 10 swings

Eyes on the ball until the bat meets it. Square contact sends it around cleanly.

  3. 3. High, Middle, Low

    6 min | 9 swings

Three swings at each ball height. Adjust with the legs, not the hands.

  4. 4. Finish Strong

    4 min | 5 swings

Five best swings of the day. Hold the finish for a count of two.

Total: 20 minutes, 32 swings.

Make it a game

Solo: count rotations on your five best swings and beat that total next time. With others: take turns and compete for the most rotations. Clean hits only.

Home station questions

Which home stations does this page cover?

The Beast Hack Backyard Training Kit for players 14 and under, and the Indoor, Outdoor & Mobile Beast Hack for older players, garages, gyms and indoor spaces.

How long should a home session be?

Short sessions of 10 to 30 minutes work well. Youth plans stay at 30 minutes or less and no more than 40 swings.

Can more than one player use the station?

Yes. Pick 2 to 4 players or Team in the coach and the plan adds a rotation so players take turns.

What add-ons fit a home station?

Baseball kit owners can add the Beast Hack Barrier Net. Softball players can add the softball ball assembly replacement.
